Step By Step Ballroom is run by Susan Stopps and Colin Rayner.

Sue and ColinSusan Stopps
Susan's first experience of Ballroom Dancing was at the age of 11 in East London. She continued to dance throughout her teenage years eventually becoming a student teacher. She has been a qualified dance teacher since 1976 and taught both junior and adult pupils of all standards in London for a number of years until moving to Cambridgeshire.

Susan is qualified in both Ballroom and Latin American Dancing and is a Fellow of the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA).

Colin Rayner
Colin began dancing aged 9 and started competing a year later. He represented Eastern Counties at national finals at both juvenile and junior age groups. Specialising in Old Time and Modern Sequence, he moved into the adult competition ranks, winning many championships. He is a former East of England Open and Closed Champion and was a member of the Eastern Counties team on the original Come Dancing TV show.

Colin's lifelong passion for dance continues and he is an Associate Member of the IDTA.
